Our Mission
To empower dog owners to create their dream relationship with their canine companion. Every handler and canine we work with has a different sentiment, helping you become an exemplary team regardless of environment or circumstance by explaining the concepts necessary in such a way, you as the handler have confidence in yourself and your canines performance.
Not every dog learns at the same pace. It is our goal to ensure the dog and owner are set up for success and are learning at a pace and structure that works well for them.
Our Background
Dean is a Bloomfield, Kentucky native, growing up a few miles from our location. He was given the opportunity to impact others at a young age from being in various leadership roles throughout his childhood. He enlisted into the Kentucky National Guard right out of school, serving his full commitment with the Army before transferring to the Air Force. Throughout this time he was afforded the opportunity to work with numerous canines in his civilian career. This is where he moved through a training company from kennel tech, to a trainer, to a Head Trainer at a stand alone location. Now Dean is the head trainer and one of the owners in Onyx Canine Kennels, LLC.
Becky is a Kentucky Native, growing up all over the country following her parents careers. During this time she grew into an amazing leader among her peers, and participated in many scholar programs. She attended the University of Kentucky until she enlisted into the Kentucky Air National Guard in 2016. She manages a full time career outside of caring for the backend operations and part ownership of Onyx Canine Kennels, LLC.
